Acas issue shared parental leave guide

Acas have today issued Shared Parental Leave: a good practice guide for employers and employees.  Acas have also issued a sample policy and template letters.  
 
Shared Parental Leave is available to eligible parents and adopters whose children are due to be born or placed for adoption on or after 5 April 2015, and will enable couples to share time off work after the birth or adoption.
 
KLC are running sessions on the new right to Shared Parental Leave, and all the associated new rights, on the Autumn CIPD Law on Tour.  The workshops, which run at various locations nationwide until the end of October, offer expert advice and guidance on the latest legislation, case law and employment initiatives.   The materials include resources such as a template Shared Parental Leave Policy, template notifications forms and a Flexible Working Policy for you to use or adapt for your own organisation.  Booking is via the CIPD website.
