Challenge to the compulsory vaccination of care home workers

The Legal Advice Network has written an open letter to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care and others setting out how they believe the statutory provision for care workers to be vaccinated is unenforceable.  Essentially, the Legal Advice Network asserts that the Government has made a regulation that they can’t enforce (the one requiring vaccination) because it is overridden by another, pre-existing law which is set out in an Act rather than Regulations and therefore takes precedence. They are apparently seeking a judicial review.
