Data Protection Reform

The government has published its response to its consultation ‘Data: a new direction’ which was launched in September 2021.  The consultation was aimed at developing proposals to reform the UK’s data protection laws with the aim of  securing a pro-growth and trusted data regime as part of the UK’s National Data Strategy.
