Gender Pay Gap enforcement, and including furloughed staff in reporting

The Equality and Human Rights Commission announced today that they will take enforcement action against employers who do not publish their gender pay gap data.

Reporting was suspended in 2020 due to the pandemic.  Enforcement action will not start until 5 October 2021, giving employers six months’ grace.  The Commission have produced guidance on how to include furloughed staff in Gender pay Gap reporting.
