Increases to employment tribunal awards

The annual increases to compensation limits for employment tribunal awards and other statutory payments has now been published in the Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2024 The Employment Rights (Increase of Limits) Order 2024

  • The maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal rises from £105,707 to £115,115
  • A week’s pay  (for the purposes of calculating the basic award for unfair dismissal;  statutory redundancy pay; failures with regard to flexible working requests, written particulars and right to accompaniment)  rises from £643 to £700


The changes are effective from 6 April 2024.
