Minimum service levels consultation

On 25 August 2023, the Government launched a 6-week consultation on the reasonable steps trade unions should take concerning minimum service levels during strikes.  The results of the consultation will help produce a statutory Code of Practice to provide guidance for unions in certain key sectors to ensure compliance with work notices given by employers, prior to strike action, in accordance with the Strikes (Minimum Service Levels) Act 2023, (yet to be implemented).
