New National Minimum Wage rates announced

Following the Low Pay Commission’s recommendations, the Government has announced that with effect from 1 April 2022, the National Living Wage and the National Minimum Wage rates will increase as follows:

 National Living Wage - from £8.91 to £9.50

21-22 Year Old Rate - from £8.36 to £9.18

18-20 Year Old Rate - from £6.56 to £6.83

16-17 Year Old Rate - from £4.62 to £4.81

Apprentice Rate - from £4.30 to £4.81
