New statutory rates in force – a reminder

New rate of £151.97 per week for SMP, ShPP, SAP and SPP from 6 April 2021.

Statutory Sick Pay increased to £96.35 per week from 6 April 2021.

Lower earnings limit threshold increased to £121 per week from 6 April 2021.

New hourly rates for the NLW and NMW from 1 April.

Workers aged 23 and over:  £8.91,

workers aged 21-24: £8.36,

workers aged 18-20:  £6.56,

workers aged 16-17: £4.62,

and the apprentice rate increases to £4.30 per hour.
