TUPE

There are currently certain exemptions for TUPE consultation for micro-businesses (those employing fewer than 10 employees).

The Government has announced that the requirement to consult with representatives about a transfer when there are fewer than 50 workers and fewer than 10 transferees, will be removed.

Those hoping for more radical reform of TUPE will be greatly disappointed.
