Working Time Regulations

The Government will be making changes to Working Time Regulations, as follows.

  • Removing requirements on employers to keep records of working hours.
  • Merging Regulation 13 (20 days’ leave – minimum EU retained law requirement) and 13A leave (8 days’ leave –independently implemented by UK Government).
  • Introducing rolled-up holiday pay (which was effectively made unlawful by a case decided in the European Court of Justice.
