On Friday 16 January 2015, Acas published the response to its consultation on a revision to the Code of Practice on disciplinary and grievance procedures. The revision was required as a result of the EAT judgment in Toal v GB Oils, which concerned the right to accompaniment under section 10 of the Employment Relations Act 1999. A revised Code of Practice has also been published and is subject to Parliamentary approval.
We will be discussing the revised Code as well as all other new employment law and case law at our employment law update which is taking place at Drummond Gate, London on 17 March 2015. Click here to find out more.
