Consultation response on Discipline & Grievance Code

On Friday 16 January 2015, Acas published the response to its consultation on a revision to the Code of Practice on disciplinary and grievance procedures.  The revision was required as a result of the EAT judgment in Toal v GB Oils, which concerned the right to accompaniment under section 10 of the Employment Relations Act 1999.   A revised Code of Practice has also been published and is subject to Parliamentary approval.
