Data protection

The Government’s Data Protection and Digital Information Bill (the Bill) has been delayed in its passage through the Commons. 

The Bill contains wide-ranging proposals, including matters relating to Data subject access requests, compliance, legal basis for processing of legitimate interests, AI, special category data, and even the governance model of the ICO itself.
