End of the CJRS scheme

The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme (CJRS)  has now come to an end. The scheme, which launched in March 2020 closed on 30 September 2021.  According to Government statistics there were still 440,000 employers with 1.3 million staff on furlough on 31 August 2021.
