The Government will later today launch a consultation to make vaccination compulsory for frontline workers in health and care settings. The requirement will be to have COVID-19 and flu vaccinations to protect patients from infection, serious illness or death. The consultation will last six weeks and look at whether the requirement to be vaccinated should be applied to wider health and social care workers meaning that only those workers who are full vaccinated, unless medically exempt, could be deployed to deliver health and care services.
Full details of the consultation have not yet been published but you can read more here.
